One of our favourite outdoor spaces at Orchid Blue is the Beer Garden — a spot that’s become a firm guest favourite since it went in.
Ambient festoon lighting sets the mood every evening, strung above a firepit that features a carved relief of Fraser Island (K’gari) itself. Alongside it sits a solid outdoor table seating up to twelve people, making it an easy spot to gather the whole group for dinner.
And if you ever do get tired of the ocean views from Orchid Blue’s top decks (hard to imagine, we know), there’s a whole other space to wander down into and settle in for the night.
It’s the kind of place evenings naturally end up — evening drinks, shared meals, storytelling after a big beach day, or just unwinding under the stars while the fire crackles. From sunset to late night, it’s built for connection and comfort.
